Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers using a provided call list or database.
- Pitch products or services to potential customers and effectively communicate their features and benefits.
- Generate leads and qualify prospects through engaging conversations and active listening.
- Overcome objections and address concerns to close sales and achieve sales targets.
- Follow-up with leads generated through previous interactions or marketing campaigns to nurture them through the sales process.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including contact details, preferences, and outcomes.
- Continuously develop product knowledge and sales techniques through training and self-study to enhance performance and results.
- Collaborate with team members and sales managers to optimize sales strategies and achieve team goals.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service to enhance the company’s reputation and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Proven experience in telemarketing, sales, or customer service roles is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a clear and articulate phone manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with customers over the phone.
- Persuasive personality with the ability to effectively pitch products and overcome objections.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining customer records and following compliance regulations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Positive attitude, resilience, and determination to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
- Must reside within Lekki and its environs.
