Job Description

  • We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Manager to lead our workshop operations and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the auto workshop, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and motivate a team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff; conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and manage the workshop budget, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability; analyze financial performance and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance workshop efficiency and service quality.
  • Oversee the procurement and inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring availability and minimizing downtime.
  • Ensure all repairs and services meet the highest quality standards; implement and maintain quality control procedures.
  • Ensure the workshop complies with all safety regulations and standards; promote a culture of safety among staff.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth, including new services, marketing strategies, and customer acquisition.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on workshop performance, financials, and other key metrics to senior management.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an OND, HND, Bachelor
  • 5 years+ experience as a Business Manager, Service Manager, or similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Relevant certifications or training in automotive management (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repair processes, and quality control standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
