Key Responsibilities
Administrative Duties:
- Manage daily office operations, including compliance, scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining records.
- Oversee office supply inventory and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
- Assist with human resources tasks such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.
- Coordinate company events and meetings, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
Accounting Duties:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
- Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an administrative and accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and office management systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- The candidate must be a resident of Benin City.
