Responsibilities
The responsibilities of an HR/Admin Officer shall include:
- Recruitment and Selection: Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring of qualified candidates.
- Onboarding and Orientation: Coordinate new employee onboarding activities, including paperwork, orientation sessions, and introductions to company policies and procedures.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances. Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions between employees and managers.
- Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs, coordinate training sessions, and facilitate employee development programs to enhance skills and competencies.
- Compensation and Benefits Administration: Manage employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonus plans, health insurance, and retirement benefits.
- HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Keep abreast of changes in employment legislation.
- HR Information Systems: Maintain accurate employee records and information in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) databases. Generate reports and analyze HR metrics.
- Attendance and Leave Management: Track employee attendance, vacations, sick leave, and other absences. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Employee Engagement and Wellness: Develop and implement initiatives to foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being. Organize employee events and activities.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate safety training, conduct risk assessments, and implement measures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the organization, such as managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Legal Compliance: Stay informed about employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Ensure that HR practices and policies align with legal requirements.
- Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts and disputes among employees or between employees and management. Mediate discussions and work towards mutually beneficial resolutions.
- Employee Separation: Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, including conducting exit interviews, processing final payments, and facilitating smooth transitions.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess an HND, B.Sc, B.A Degree with 2-4 years experience.
